Our M1917A1 helmet combines an original WWII era British shell with a leather head cradle made by Prairie Flower Leather Company. We carefully restore the shells, sandblasting them bare to remove imperfections and applying a high-quality paint and texture. The chinstraps are box-stitched, using our early M1 hardware, complete with a black steel endkeeper for an authentic feel. For the liner, we use only the best-grade leather from Prairie Flower.
