LINER, HELMET, PARACHUTISTS, M1

What is offered?

We recreate two factory* produced paratrooper liners.

  1. The INLAND jump liner:  Typical characteristics include HBT webbing, nickel segma® fasteners, "A" shaped washers and rivets made of bare steel.  "A" yokes are made with cotton tape dyed OD#3 (olive drab "khaki").  The "A" yokes are finished with a wire formed brass buckle that is blackened.

  2. The Westinghouse jump liner:  Typical characteristics include HBT webbing, blackened brass segma® fasteners, "A" shaped washers and rivets made of brass.  The "A' yokes are made with cotton tape dyed OD#7 (olive drab "dark green").  The "A" yokes are finished with a steel buckle that is painted green.

*Factory produced is defined as helmet liners that were specifically made to be paratrooper liners from their conception.  We do not refer to any type of "rigger" made jump liners in our definition.

Frequently asked questions:

  1. What does "Inland style" or " Westinghouse style" mean with regard to  paratrooper liners?

This means that the liner, regardless of manufacturer, is built like an original INLAND or WESTINGHOUSE paratrooper liner.  We typically use Firestone or Westinghouse for INLAND style liners. For Westinghouse we use either a WWII manufactured Westinghouse liner (truly authentic) or a postwar Westinghouse liner.

   2.    Can I choose the liner manufacturer?

No – and we aren't just being mean.  The reason we cannot accommodate this request is simple: we simply cannot maintain an adequate stock of ALL manufacturers.  Most of our liners are Westinghouse

   3.    Why don't you use real INLAND liners?

We don't use them because they are too hard to find.

   4.    Are the original liners pictured below for sale?

Sorry, but no.  We have looked high and low for some of these and aren’t willing to sell them.

5.  Are your liners perfect in everyway, with no defects of any kind?

NO!  Remember we use ONLY original U.S. made WWII and Korean era liners.
Therefore they may have defects.  Such as; small chips and nicks in the rim
and repaired rivet holes or punctures.  We use the BEST liners available
to us.  We DON'T sluff off crappy liners on our customers, but we do use liners
           with slight signs of use
