Fixed Bail Helmet Options

M1 Helmet - Fixed Bail - Complete - Option 1

Option 1 is our best seller for the individual looking for a complete, ready to wear out of the box WWII infantry helmet.  This is a carefully restored and converted WWII M1 helmet with welded chinstrap bails.  The chinstraps have od3 (khaki) cotton webbing and brass chinstrap hardware with a cast buckle, j hook and endkeeper.  The helmet liner features a common early build, featuring a web kit with dull gray "A" washers and nickel-ed neckband snaps.  We finish these with a double wire headband and flat flip leather chinstrap.  Our helmets are made to order, so please plan ahead for your upcoming events.  We may need 10 business days to build this for you.

M1 Helmet - Fixed Bail - Complete - Option 2

This helmet is also complete and ready to wear out of the box.  Option 2 is another strong seller, but keep in mind this package features a liner that has "transitional" features and may not appeal to a beginner collector or reenactor.  The liner features a rayon web kit with "rectangular" shaped washers and nickel-ed neckband snaps.  Finished with a double wire headband and riveted (fixed) chinstrap.  The web kit and fixed chinstrap are more common to the very early production runs of the press paper liner.  The leftover inventory was used for only a few months in the more common helmet liners, making this option "transitional."  The WWII helmet is carefully restored and converted with welded chinstrap bails.  Finished with our early chinstraps that have od3 (khaki) cotton webbing and brass chinstrap hardware with a cast buckle, j hook and endkeeper.  Our helmets are made to order, so please plan ahead for your upcoming events.  We may need 10 business days to build this for you.

M1 Helmet - Fixed Bail - Complete - Option 2 $325.00
