This is the first pattern of the helmet liner chinstrap, most common on the Hawley paper liner. You will also see them on St. Clair, Westinghouse and Inland helmet liners. Our reproductions are identical to originals. Includes two rivets for installation.

We made the dies for this chincup with an original example and a wartime dated mechanical drawing. They are made with 4-5 oz. leather, army russet tanned and lined with genuine chamois. This is the earlier variation perfect for an M2 D-Bale helmet.
