Norwegian manufactured M1 helmet restored to look like a WWII M2 paratrooper helmet. Complete with Inland type helmet liner. We are building these out when we can for the rough and tumble reenactor who does not wish to put an original WWII U.S. M1 helmet through the wringer every weekend. These are also perfect for those on a budget or who want a helmet for display purposes where an authentic helmet is not necessary.
What we are doing is giving these helmets a good clean up with fresh paint, texture and a set of our paratrooper chinstraps. This one reflects the iconic U.S. WWII M2 helmet with the D shaped semi circular chinstrap loops. We then complete the helmet with our early war Inland type liner* which is complete with all parts.
This helmet is sold complete and ready to wear. We build them when ordered, plan accordingly and allow up to 14 business days for us to complete one for you.
We ship worldwide. Our international customers must understand that we will not declare our helmets as a gift and we declare full value on customs forms. Requests to falsify these documents will result in order cancellation.
*These liners are restored exactly like our top shelf liners except they didn't turn out as pretty as we would like. They will have blemishes from field use that keep them from being excellent but do not impact form or function. They turn out looking really good, and we'd never restore anything that we wouldn't wear ourselves.
